Today, on 14.07.2026, the first meeting of the Working Group for the Drafting of the Concept Document for the Branding of Development Regions was held, in which the content and main directions of the document were discussed.
The meeting was opened and chaired by Ms. Shyhrete Kastrati, Chair of the Working Group and Director of the Department for Regional Performance and Analysis at the Ministry of Regional Development.
During the meeting, Ms. Kastrati presented the initial draft of the Concept Document, presenting the content, structure and main concepts of the document, as well as the importance of drafting a proper policy for the branding of development regions.
The members of the working group reviewed the chapters of the initial draft of the concept document and exchanged ideas, comments and recommendations for advancing the document, aiming for it to reflect the needs, specificities and potential of each development region, contributing to the promotion of sustainable economic, social and cultural development.
In addition to representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, the meeting was also attended by representatives of line ministries, representatives from the Government Coordinating Secretariat, as well as representatives of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs).
