Today, on 24.08.2026, the Acting Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Rasim Demiri, received in his office a delegation of guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adilović, Mufti of Travnik, Mr. Ismir Karaga, Director of TV5 based in Sarajevo, Mr. Nezim Halilović Muderis, former senior official in BIH and retired colonel of the Army of BiH, and Mr. Harun Hodžić, retired major of the Army of BiH.
The delegation is part of a larger team, which this year has chosen Kosovo for the filming of the highly watched TV series “Jedno smo”, on TV5.
During the meeting, the Acting Minister, Mr. Demiri, thanked the guests for their visit to Kosovo, as well as for the visits made to local Bosnian communities. On this occasion, he also informed the attendees about the scope, responsibilities and activities of the Ministry of Regional Development.
For their part, the guests thanked the acting Minister for the welcome and the time allocated, briefly presenting the purpose of their visit to Kosovo, as well as the mission and content of their television show.
During the conversation, they expressed their gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Prime Minister for the unilateral lifting of the visa regime for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, they expressed regret that the reciprocal lifting of the visa regime for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo continues to be blocked in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to advance regional cooperation in the future in areas of common interest.
