Today, on 25.08.2026, the First Acting Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Ali Dula, paid an official visit to the Municipality of Gracanica, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and closely monitoring the implementation of capital projects that are being implemented in cooperation between the Ministry and the Municipality.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister Mr. Dula was received by the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Gracanica, Mr. Leutrim Ajeti, and the Deputy Mayor Mr. Dejan Dimitrijević. The Acting Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), Mr. Arton Konushevci, was also part of the visit.
This meeting discussed the cooperation between the central and local levels, the importance of institutional coordination, as well as the implementation of joint projects that directly affect socio-economic development.
After the meeting in the Municipality, the institutional representatives visited the capital project “Educational – Recreational Centre” which was implemented in cooperation between the Ministry of Regional Development and the Municipality of Gracanica.
During the field visit, the parties were informed about the progress of the project implementation and discussed the importance of its completion. It was emphasized that investments in cultural infrastructure are of particular importance for creating better conditions for the community and for contributing to sustainable socio-economic development at the local level.
The First Deputy Minister, Mr. Ali Dula, reiterated the commitment of the Ministry of Regional Development to continue cooperation with municipalities and support capital projects that address the concrete needs of citizens and contribute to balanced regional development.
The visit concluded with the joint readiness to continue inter-institutional coordination and advance projects that have a direct impact on local development and improving the well-being of citizens of the Municipality of Gracanica.
