The Ministry of Regional Development held a preparatory meeting on January 16, 2025, to discuss the establishment of Regional Development Centers in development regions, with the aim of coordinating and planning this process.

In accordance with Law No. 08/L-190, Article 16, after the approval of the sub-legal acts derived from this law, the regulation on the establishment and organization of these centers should clearly define the obligations that the Ministry of Regional Development has in relation to this process.

During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of coordination in preparations, responsibilities, and commitments of each party involved in the process of establishing the Regional Development Centers.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, the Director of the RDD, Mr. Ylber Çitaku, the Executive Directors of the five RDFs, and other representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development.
