On January 31, 2025, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Besim Kamberaj, and Ms. Shyhrete Kastrati, Director of the Regional Performance and Analysis Department (RPAD) within the MRD, met with the Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Mr. Agron Bajraktari.

The purpose of the meeting was to advance the Regional Performance System, established within the seven development regions, for the collection and analytical processing of data to develop regional socio-economic analyses.

Both institutions expressed their commitment to continuing collaboration and advancing the Regional Performance System, which is expected to contribute to balanced regional development by providing an appropriate tool for measuring regional performance.

The meeting was attended by: Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Secretary General at the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Agron Bajraktari - Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, Ms. Fakije Zejnullahu - Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Innovation and Information Technology at UASF, Ms. Shyhrete Kastrati - Director of the Planning and Regional Socio-Economic Analysis Department (PRSEAD), and Ms. Fatmire Thaçi - Head of the Regional Socio-Economic Performance Division.
