Today, on 19.05.2026, the Acting Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Rasim Demiri, together with the Mayor of Ferizaj, Mr. Agim Aliu, inaugurated the finalization of the project “Creation of tourist infrastructure” in the village of Varosh in Ferizaj.
This project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development and co-financed by the Municipality of Ferizaj with a value of 359,756.35 euros.
On this occasion, Minister Demiri stressed the importance of investments in projects that directly impact local development and promote the tourism potential of Kosovo’s regions. He assessed that investments in tourism infrastructure contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens and creating new opportunities for sustainable socio-economic development.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Ferizaj Municipality, Mr. Agim Aliu, thanked the Ministry of Regional Development for its cooperation and continued support in the implementation of projects of interest to the citizens of the Ferizaj municipality.
During this activity, it was emphasized that such projects are important for advancing local infrastructure, promoting tourism, and strengthening balanced regional development.
Minister Mr. Rasim Demiri during this visit was accompanied by the Acting General Secretary of the MRD Mr. Ylber Çitaku, the Chief of Cabinet, Mr. Izet Velia and Ms. Arta Maloku-Head of the PCD.
