Division for Project Development and Management
Duties and responsibilities of the Division for Project Development and Management are as follows:
- Prepares the annual plan for development and management of capital projects and for subsidies and transfers, for the area of regional development;
- Develops and promotes balanced regional development projects;
- Develop guidelines for project development and management in the area of regional socio-economic development;
- Drafts project financing criteria and publishes / promotes the same;
- Coordinates activities with line ministries, municipalities and RDAs to identify needs and areas for project development and support;
- It compiles the guidelines for drafting the project proposals and for monitoring their realization;
- Launches a balanced Regional Development Program: Public Investment and Subsidies and Transfers;
- Prepare and implement the project monitoring plan.
- Conducts project implementation and reports on regular periodic basis
- Head of Division for Project Development and Management, reports to Head of Department.
- The number of employees in this Division is two (2).
The Head of the Department for Regional Development reports to the Secretary General of the MRD.
