The Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), respectively the Internal Audit Committee, on 18.12.2020, held a meeting of the Audit Committee in MRD

Chairman of the Audit Committee from MRD, Mr Xhevat Sefaj, together with the two members of the Committee from the civil society, Mr Zendullah Gülderen and Mr Shaqir Haliti, held the first meeting of the functioning of the Audit Committee in MRD, based on the LAW NO. 06/L-021 ON PUBLIC INTERNAL FINANCIAL CONTROL and ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTION MF- No. 01/2019 ON FUNCTIONING OF THE INTERNAL AUDIT COMMITTEE.

In this meeting, the draft Statute of the Audit Committee was reviewed, the comments of the Statute were harmonized and the consent was given by the members of the Committee that this statute be approved according to Administrative Instruction No. 01-2019 of FM on Functioning of the Internal Audit Committee.

With the functioning of the Audit Committee, the MRD has met a legal obligation to fulfil its responsibilities in financial reports and other financial information; internal control systems related to finance, accounting, legal and ethical compliance.
