Today on 26.01.2021, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Enis Kervan, visited some of the businesses that benefited from the Balanced Regional Development Program “ARDP 2020” and the program for Economic Recovery “Measure 8” in the Development Region Centre.

Minister Kervan made this visit in order to see closely their business activity, performance and difficulties faced by private businesses in the country, especially at this time of pandemic. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Regional Development, through public calls from the balanced Regional Development Program "ARDP 2020" and the program for Economic Recovery "Measure 8", contributed to the empowerment of businesses. MRD will continue to help businesses constantly to advance the situation in balanced regional socio-economic development in the country.

Representatives of businesses that benefited from the Ministry of Regional Development informed the Minister about their activities, as well as informed that their products which differ in quality and as such are in demand both in the domestic and foreign market. The beneficiaries thanked the Minister and the Ministry of Regional Development for their continuous support and assistance, especially during the time of pandemic which was very challenging for the operation of all businesses in the country.

Minister Mr. Enis Kervan emphasized that staying close to businesses during this time of pandemic is a mission and institutional responsibility. Likewise, the Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are making efforts to help the private sector in the light of the Law on economic recovery.

During the visit, the Minister was accompanied by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MRD and other representatives from the Ministry.
