PRepresentatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and GIZ met today, 01.02.2021, to discuss the objectives that will be included in the cooperation document in the field of regional development. During the meeting, the parties discussed a series of potential cooperation objectives and activities, which are related to the finalization of the Regional Development Strategy and its promotion, building an efficient electronic system of regional performance, planning the capital investments of the central level by regions, etc

Also, the parties discussed the cooperation with other line ministries and GIZ, namely for joining financial means to support municipalities with capital projects, based on their performance. Finally, the parties agreed to include the conclusions of this workshop in the cooperation document, which will precede a joint action plan for implementation of activities aimed at balanced regional socio-economic development.
