Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) and Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) organized today, 04.02.2021, the workshop “Discussion of MRD programs to support the private sector – year 2021”.
Mr. Enis Kervan, Minister of MRD, opened the workshop, greeting the participants on behalf of the Ministry of Regional Development and welcoming them to the workshop “Discussion of MRD programs to support the private sector – year 2021”, Deputy Secretary Mr. Besim Kamberaj stated that this workshop is aimed at presenting and discussing the Draft Programs for Balanced Regional Development, specifically supporting the private sector in 2021. The participants were greeted by the representative of KLGI Institute, Mr. Besnik Musaj, who, on behalf of the KLGI Institute, expressed the willingness to continue the cooperation with MRD even in 2021. Mr. Musaj stated that KLGI aims to serve as a platform for more structured communication to build capacities and draft policies and legislation in the field of local government. Following the speeches of the Minister, Mr. Kervan and Mr. Musaj, Mr. Ylber Citaku - Deputy Director of the Department for Regional Development, presented the Balanced Regional Development Programs (BRDP and ERP - MEASURE 15) - 2021. Finally, the participants provided their assessments and comments in relation to the draft - criteria prepared by MRD for the Balanced Regional Development Programs for 2021 - Supporting Businesses, which will be included in MRD calls for support of the private sector – year 2021. In addition to the representatives from MRD and KLGI Institute, the workshop was attended by representatives of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Kosovo Turkey Chamber of Commerce, Kosovo Manufacturing Club and representatives of five (5) RDAs.
