Today, on 07 April 2021, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, visited the municipality of Shtime, a beneficiary municipality within the Regional Development Program RDP 2021 for capital investment projects.

Minister Damka and the Mayor of Shtime, Mr. Naim Ismajli praised the project "Regulation of the attractive and sports park in Pishat - Phase ll", a project funded by MRD (in the amount of 50,000.00 €) and co-financed by Municipality of Shtime.

Minister Damka emphasized that the Ministry of Regional Development assessed this project as appropriate which will pave the way for local development, tourism development, creation of more favourable conditions for entertainment and development of sports, as well as better conditions for the entertainment of the children of the municipality in question.

The Mayor of Shtime, Mr. Naim Ismaili, thanked the Minister, Mr. Damka, for the cooperation and continuous support from the MRD, who stressed that the implementation and works of the project will be carried out in full accuracy and efficiency.

Minister Mr. Damka paid a visit to the municipality in question together with Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MRD as well as representatives from the cabinet and civil staff of MRD.
