On 30.06.2021 and 01.07.2021, MRD officials participated in the study visit to the Centre for Development of the Polog Planning Region (CDPPR) as well as to the municipality of Zelino, in the Polog planning region. The welcoming speech was delivered by Mr Fatmir Sahiti, director of the Centre for Development of the Polog Planning Region (CDPPR), who emphasized, among other things, that CDPPR, in the course of its work, has made progress in terms of increasing the competitiveness of the regions by increasing the best use of competitive advantages and development potentials in the Polog development region, Republic of North Macedonia. Also, MRD officials had a meeting with the mayor of Zelino, Mr Blerim Sejdiu, who further explained to us regarding the inter-municipal projects which are being implemented and have a regional impact in the Polog region.

The greeting speech from the Kosovo delegation was delivered by Mr Arbnor Sadiku, Head of the Division for European Integration, who emphasized, among other things, that MRD is about to finalize the document "Deepening and advancing the cooperation between MRD and RDAs", and as a result of this we have come today to the offices of the Centre for Development of the Polog Planning Region to exchange the experiences of North Macedonia with those of Kosovo in terms of the functioning of the planning regions in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The meeting was also attended by Mr Erol Zekerija, Advisor to the Minister of MRD, Mr Nderim Bytyqi, Head of RDA South, Enver Hoxha, Official of RDA South, as well as other MRD officials: Ms Shkendije Dinaj, Head of the Legal Division, Ms Vlora Fetoshi, Mr Butrint Marmullaku and Mr Xhevat Sefaj.
