The purpose of the meeting was to review the Semi-Annual Report related to the internal audits carried out and the activities of the Internal Audit Division within MRD.

The committee meeting was chaired by the chairman, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, who presented the items of the agenda.

Deputy chair of the Internal Audit Division Ms. Sabajete Kabashi reported on the audits carried out and the activities of IAD and according to her the management has established an appropriate audit environment that is the basis of all other components of internal audit.

Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka expressed his readiness for cooperation and correctness.

The Internal Audit Committee, according to its mandate, continues to function to assist the Minister in the overall system of public finance audit, risk assessment and management, effective and cooperative relationship to successfully implement the audit plan.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, together with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Besim Kamberaj and the Chief of Cabinet of the Minister, Mr. Yildiray Bayram.

The two members of the committee from civil society, Mr. Zendullah Gylderen and Mr. Shaqir Haliti, were also present at the meeting.
