Minister of Regional Development, Fikrim Damka, together with the Deputy Minister of MARD, Agon Dobruna, on 05.08.2021, visited some of the businesses that benefited from the Balanced Regional Development Program “ARDP 2020” and the program for Economic Recovery “Measure 8” in the Development Region West in the Municipality of Peja.

Minister Damka visited the businesses “GranD-Pe” SH.P.K, “INNER DESIGN” SH.P.K, “Seferi- Mont” SH.P.K., to take a closer look at their business activity, work and the difficulties faced by businesses in the country. The Minister stressed that staying close to businesses is a mission and institutional responsibility. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Regional Development, through public calls from the Program for Balanced Regional Development "ARDP 2020" and the program for Economic Recovery "Measure 8", has influenced the empowerment of businesses, and at the same time promised that MARD will continue to assist businesses in the advancement and balanced regional socio-economic development in the country.

The representatives of the businesses that benefited from the Ministry of Regional Development informed the Minister about their activities, at the same time informing him that their products differ in quality; therefore as such they are in demand in the domestic market as well as in the foreign one. They also pointed to the increase in the number of employees as a result of the increase in capacity and opportunities after the purchase of new machinery when receiving grants. Beneficiaries thanked the Minister and the Ministry of Regional Development for the continuous support and assistance they are giving to businesses.

In his visit, Minister Fikrim Damka was accompanied by Deputy Minister of MARD, Agon Dobruna, Deputy Director of the Department for Regional Development, Ylber Çitaku, and other representatives from the Ministry.
