The Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr Agon Dobruna, together with the Senior Advisor of MRD, Mr Ergin Bunjaku, paid an official visit to Turkey, from 04.09.2021 to 06.09.2021, with the representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure. Part of the visit were two companies for waste management and energy production from biogas, to look into the good experiences and exchange practices in this field. The visit took place in the municipalities of Samsun and Denizli, where, through these good practices, Kosovo can benefit in terms of solving the problem of waste management and existing landfills for a regional socio-economic development.

Through this visit, it was also noted that the technologies used by the two companies visited meet the standards for a clean environment.
