On September 13, 2021, Mr Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MARD, was on an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia, specifically in the Ministry of Local Self-Government, where he met with officials of this Ministry with whom he harmonized the Agreement to be signed on 16.09.2021 between two counterparts, Minister Goran Milevski and Fikrim Damka, Minister of MARD, as well as discussed finding ways for MARD membership in Transnational Programs (Balkanmed, Adrian and Danube).

Mr Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MARD, in the framework of the official agenda, during the day held a working meeting with Mr Ramiz Rexhepi - Director of the Bureau for Regional Development of the Republic of North Macedonia, where they discussed mutual cooperation, exchange of experiences, as well as issues with special emphasis on the organization and functioning of regional development in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The Deputy Secretary General of MARD in the official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia was accompanied by the Deputy Director of RDA, Mr Ylber Çitaku, also part of the meetings were also the officials from MVL of RMV, Bureau for Regional Development
