On 07.10.2021, the Ministry of Regional Development held a video conference with the officials of the Joint Secretariat, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development, emphasized that the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) in the course of its work is interested to get acquainted with the work of the "Balkan-Mediterranean Transnational Program", for the fact that in the future Kosovo intends to be part of transnational programs.

From the Joint Secretariat of this program, the Head of the Secretariat of the Balkan-Mediterranean transnational program, Mr. THEMISTOKLIS CHATZIKONSTANTINOU presented the whole program with the main processes for the participants in the virtual meeting, as well as presented in detail the other officials on how the Mediterranean Program works as follows:

1. Presentation of the Balkan-Mediterranean Program, Monitoring Committee, Program Implementation, best practices;

2. Calls for Project Proposals (Call documents, call modalities, project creation);

3. Implementation of the Balkan-Mediterranean Program (implementation modalities);

4. Communication.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Arbnor Sadiku, Deputy Director of the Department for Policy Coordination and European Integration in MRD, as well as other representatives from the “Transnational Program - JTS, Balkan-Mediterranean” .
