Representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Blerim Hasani, Director of the Department for Planning and Socio-Economic Analysis and Mrs. Vjendita Avdiu Musliu, Head of the Division for Balanced Regional Development held a virtual meeting with representatives from GIZ, namely Mr. Jeton Oruqi and Mrs. Vjollca Behluli.

 In this meeting, it was discussed about the completion of the last activities of 2021 and the start of the first joint activities in 2022, as provided in the joint memorandum of cooperation. In this sense, some of the activities that were discussed at the meeting were: finalization of the Draft of the Capital Investment Analysis by development regions 2018-2020, Draft Concept of Regional Brands, Draft Feasibility Study in the field of regional development, etc. On this occasion, in the framework of the support that GIZ is giving to MRD, the consultant Mr. Berat Abdiu was also introduced, who was assigned for professional support to the Department for Planning and Regional socioeconomic analysis / MRD, regarding the finalization of analytical documents foreseen for 2021 and the beginning of 2022 ...

The parties in the meeting agreed on the continuation of the most intensive communication either through virtual or physical method, in order to successfully complete the plans envisaged for 2021, as well as to reach agreements for the start of the first activities for 2022.
