On 02 December 2021, the Office of the Language Commissioner (OAG) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Mission in Kosovo (OSCE), organized the Award Ceremony Best Practice in Implementing the Law on the Use of Languages in Kosovo”.

In the introductory speech of Mr. Slaviša Mladenović - Commissioner for Languages within the Office of the Prime Minister, stressed that MRD in 2019 and 2020 was awarded the main prize for the implementation of the Law on Languages and CONTINUES to maintain the same level of compliance with the LAW NO. 02/L-37 ON THE USE OF LANGUAGES.

In this ceremony, MRD was represented by Mrs. Arta Maloku - Head of the Division for Public Communication, which is grateful and thankful that they always receive continuous support from the Minister Mr. Fikrim DAMKA, General Secretary Mr. Besim Kamberaj and all MRD staff.

The Ministry of Regional Development, in addition to publishing in the official languages Albanian - Serbian this year has practiced publishing information on social networks in Turkish and English language.

MRD remains open for cooperation with the Office of the Language Commissioner, other institutions and international partners, in terms of respecting the relevant applicable legislation for official languages and fulfilling the mandate to advance balanced socio-economic regional development in Kosovo.
