Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr Agon Dobruna, meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Kosovo, Mr Qemal Minxhozi.

The meeting was attended by associates from both sides, i.e. associates of Mr Dobruna and of Mr Minxhozi. Mr Dobruna informed Ambassador Minxhozi about the achievements of the Ministry in the field of regional development, its challenges and strategic orientations for the coming years. In this context, Deputy Minister Dobruna informed Ambassador Minxhozi about the international conference which will be organized by MRD in 2022, where the Republic of Albania will also participate. Therefore, Mr Dobruna asked Mr Minxhozi for cooperation for this activity, regarding the organization and processing of invitations and other communications through the embassy to the competent representatives of regional development of the Republic of Albania. Ambassador Minxhozi welcomed this meeting, highly appreciating the achievements of the Ministry and its plan for organizing a conference of such dimensions in the field of regional development.

Mr Minxhozi offered Mr Dobruna his willingness and readiness to cooperate with the MRD regarding the organization of this conference and the implementation of other cooperation activities in the future. In the end, the parties agreed to continue communication and cooperation in all areas with an impact on advancing balanced socio-economic regional development in Kosovo.
