Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr Agon Dobruna, meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Northern Macedonia in Kosovo, Mrs Shpresa Jusufi.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Dobruna together with Ergin Bunjaku, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Regional Development and Blerim Hasani, Director of the Department for Regional Socio-Economic Planning and Analysis. While, from the other side, together with Ambassador Jusufi also attended Rexhep Limani, Third Secretary at the Embassy of Northern Macedonia in Kosovo

Mr Dobruna and Mrs Jusufi discussed the topics and opportunities for cooperation between Kosovo and North Macedonia, while focusing on the discussion of topics and activities related to the socio-economic development of the regions, both in Kosovo and in Northern Macedonia.

In the framework of the discussion topics, Deputy Minister Dobruna used the opportunity to inform Ambassador Jusufi about the organization of an international conference in the field of regional development which will be conducted by MARD in 2022, where the Republic of Northern Macedonia will be invited. Therefore, for this activity, Mr Dobruna requests cooperation from Mrs Jusufi, regarding the organization and processing of invitations and other communications through the embassy to the competent representatives of regional development of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Ambassador Jusufi, offered to Mr Dobruna all her will and readiness for cooperation with MARD regarding the organization of this conference, but also other cooperation activities in the future. In the end, the parties agreed to continue communication and cooperation regarding the implementation of joint activities with an impact on advancing the balanced regional socio-economic development in Kosovo.
