Today, on 14.01.2022, the Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Fikrim Damka held a working meeting with the Mayor of Kamenica, Mr. Kadri Rahimaj.

The topic of the meeting was information and discussion on project proposals that aim to contribute in creating sustainable conditions for regional economic development, and that promote balanced socio-economic, environmental and cultural development.

In this meeting, Mayor Rahimaj, as well as Directors of the respective Directorates, were informed about the Grant Scheme - Regional Development Program, and, at the same time, they were encouraged that their Municipality apply with projects - concrete capital proposals that contribute to regional socio-economic development.

The Mayor of Kamenica thanked the Minister and the Deputy Secretary General for the support given to the municipality, and for providing future cooperation with projects that contribute to socio-economic development.

During the visit, Minister Fikrim Damka was accompanied by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Yildiray Bayram - Chief of Cabinet, Mr. Ercan Şilik - Advisor to the Minister, Mr. Ylber Çitaku – Deputy Director of RDD and Ms. Arta Maloku - Head of DPC.
