Today, on 14.01.2022, the Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Fikrim Damka, paid a visit to the Municipality of Gjilan, where he was received by the Mayor of this Municipality Mr. Alban Hyseni.

The meeting was aimed at discussing on the cooperation between the Ministry of Regional Development and the Municipality of Gjilan, as well as discussion on project-proposals that contribute to regional socio-economic development.

Minister Fikrim Damka informed Mayor Hyseni that MRD supports municipalities with capital projects, through the Grant Scheme – Regional Development Program, in balanced regional development.

Minister Damka and Mayor Hyseni expressed their readiness to continue the communication for future cooperation between the MRD and Municipality of Gjilan in programs launched by the MRD.

During the visit, Minister Fikrim Damka was accompanied by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Yildiray Bayram - Chief of Cabinet, Mr. Ercan Şilik - Advisor to the Minister, Mr. Ylber Çitaku – Deputy Director of RDD and Ms. Arta Maloku - Head of DPC.
