The Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka today on 08.02.2022 visited the municipality of Shtime where he was received by the mayor Mr. Qemajl Aliu with his staff with whom he talked about possible cooperation in the implementation of joint projects between the municipality of Shtime and the Ministry of Regional Development.

The topic of the meeting was information on the launch of the Guarantee Scheme - Regional Development Program - Capital Projects, which aims to contribute to creating conditions for regional socio-economic development in all development regions of Kosovo.

Minister Mr. Damka informed in in more detail the Mayor and the Directors of the Directorates about the Scheme in question, at the same time they were encouraged for their Municipality to apply to MRD with concrete capital projects.

Mayor Mr. Aliu after thanking the Minister for the visit, who expressed the readiness for cooperation and as a municipality to engage in creating conditions and meeting the requirements of municipal competencies that will be in function of implementing projects of interest to the citizens of the municipality of Shtime.

The Minister Mr. Fikrim Damka during the visit was accompanied by Mr. Ercan Şilik - Advisor to the Minister, Mr. Ylber Çitaku– vice. Director of RDF and Mrs. Arta Maloku - Head of DKP.
