Today, on 10.02.2022, the Minister of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Fikrim Damka, held a working meeting with the Mayor of Podujeva, Mr. Shpejtim Bulliqi.

The purpose of the visit was to inform and discuss project proposals that aim to contribute to creating conditions for regional economic development, namely conditions that are sustainable and promote balanced socio-economic development.

In this meeting, Minister Damka informed the Mayor of Municipality, Mr. Bulliqi, and Directors of the respective Directorates on the Guarantee Scheme - Regional Development Program, and, at the same time, he encouraged them for their Municipality to apply with concrete capital projects - proposals that promote the regional socio-economic development.

The Mayor of Podujeva, Mr. Shpejtim Bulliqi, thanked Minister Damka, for the investments in joint projects between MRD and the Municipality of Podujeva, as well as for the opportunities to expand their cooperation in the future.

In this meeting, Minister Fikrim Damka was accompanied by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General, Ercan Şilik – Minister’s Advisor, Mr. Ylber Çitaku – Deputy Director of MRD and Mrs. Arta Maloku – Head of the PCD.​
