Today, on 11.02.2022, the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) organized the workshop: “Presentation of Guidelines and accompanying materials for the two Calls of 2022, Regional Development Program 2022 and Call for Program Proposals for Balanced Regional Development 2022.

The workshop was opened by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MRD, who greeted the participants on behalf of the Ministry of Regional Development, and welcomed them to the Workshop "Presentation of Guidelines and accompanying materials for the two Calls - 2022". Deputy Secretary Mr. Besim Kamberaj emphasized that the purpose of organizing this workshop was to present and discuss the guidelines and materials that will be part of the Call for Capital Investments in Municipalities and the call for Start-ups and existing businesses.

Following the speech of the Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Kamberaj, Mr. Ylber Citaku, Deputy Director of the Regional Development Department, presented the programs for Regional Development 2022 (Capital Investments in Municipalities) and the Program for Balanced Regional Development 2022 (assistance to Start-ups and existing businesses). At the end, participants presented their assessments, conclusions and comments on the draft criteria prepared by the MRD on balanced regional development programs for 2022.

In addition to representatives from the MRD, the deputy minister, Political Advisers to the Minister and directors of departments, the workshop was also attended by representatives of the EBRD, CARITAS, TIKA, the Kosovo Turkey Chamber of Commerce and representatives of five (5) RDAs.
