An information session was held on 02.03.2022 regarding the "Regional Development Program RDP" 2022 Capital Investments.

This information session was attended by Directors of the Directorates for Economic Development from the Municipalities of the Development Region East.

On behalf of the Ministry of Regional Development, the presentation of the "Regional Development Program RDP" 2022 Capital Investments was made by Butrint Marmullaku, Project Development and Management Officer, and Elif Perolli, Project Development and Management Officer.

Following the presentation of the Guide for Applicants for "Regional Development Program RDP" 2022 Capital Investments and Application Forms, a debate took place between participants with questions and answers. The directors of the Municipal Directorates, in addition to disclosing ideas for projects, also raised their concerns regarding the failures that are accompanying them over the years in the implementation of projects due to delays in the implementation and selection of projects as a result of procurement procedures.

The participating directors thanked the Ministry of Regional Development for timely notification and organization of on-going Information Sessions regarding the calls from the "Regional Development Program", while also expressing their gratitude to the MRD for the continuous support to the municipalities.
