Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Fikrim Damka, together with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, attended today the regular meeting of the Internal Audit Committee with the Internal Audit Division.

The purpose of this meeting was to review the Annual Report of the Internal Audit Division for 2021; Review of the implementation of the work plan for the first quarter of 2022 for the Internal Audit Division; Review of the Report for Implementation of the Recommendations of the NAO for 2020; Review of the Annual Report of the Internal Audit Committee for 2021;

Head of the Internal Audit Division in MRD, Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi, presented the Annual Report of the Internal Audit Division for 2021 and 100% implementation of this plan. She also reported on the implementation of the work plan for the first quarter of 2022 and the audit report titled “Management of IT and Logistics Services” and informed the IAC of the implementation of internal audit recommendations.

The Chairman of IAC, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, presented the Annual Report of the Internal Audit Committee for 2021 and the implementation of the external auditor's recommendations.

Minister of MRD, Mr. Fikrim Damka, and Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, expressed their willingness to cooperate with IAC and IAD.
