Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Besim Kamberaj with his staff met today on 13.04.2022 GIZ project advisor, Mrs. Vjollca Behluli with an associate in order to discuss the achievements of the preliminary agreement as: Drafting the Law on Regional Development, as well as the development of mechanisms for monitoring the Strategy for Regional Development 2020-2030, also, among others, was discussed regarding the continuation of future cooperation between MRD and GIZ

The parties also discussed cooperation with other line ministries and GIZ, in terms of pooling financial resources to support municipalities with capital projects, based on their performance. In the end, the parties agreed on the possibility of future cooperation through a "Memorandum of Cooperation", in concrete areas including the balanced regional economic aspect.
