Today, on April 15, the Ministry of Regional Development, at the invitation of the United Nations Local Network, attended the Migration Partnership Forum.

MRD in this forum was represented by Deputy Minister, Mr Agon Dobruna, Chief of Cabinet of the Minister, Mr Yildiray Bayram, Director of DEIPC, Mrs Refike Sulchevsi and Integration Officer, Mr Xhevat Sefaj.

The United Nations Local Network on Migration in this forum on Partnerships and Migration, after a fruitful discussion, from the presentations of the Global Compact for Safe Migration, had a good opportunity to discuss the progress made towards the implementation of the GCM objectives and to identify and share good practices in implementing all GCM objectives, which are rooted in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals.

During this meeting, different perspectives on migration resulted in identification of good examples, agreeing also to jointly commit to overcome the challenges, to support the rights of migrants in facilitating processes for the benefit of the authorities, communities and other stakeholders.
