Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka, on April 28, 2022 had a meeting with the Charge d'Affaires at the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Keisuke Yamanaka.

During the meeting were discussed the activities of the Ministry of Regional Development, projects and programs, capital investments, support of businesses and civil society as well as processes of strategic policy advancement implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development. They also exchanged views on the very good relations between the two countries and for the areas in which it is aimed to strengthen them in view of the balanced regional socio-economic advancement in Kosovo.

Mr. Keisuke Yamanaka, Charge d'Affaires at the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo thanked Minister Damka for the hospitality and exchange of information and stated his readiness to provide support and co-operation for further strengthening of relations between the two countries, including socio-economic cooperation.

Minister Damka thanked Mr. Yamanaka for the visit and expressed gratitude for the Japanese investments in Kosovo over the years, which have helped the development in our country. The Minister further added that he would continue to engage in deepening bilateral relations with foreign embassies to move forward important projects for the citizens of the Republic.
