The Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) in order to inform the public opinion correctly makes this reaction regarding the article published on 19/05/2022 from the electronic portals “Gazeta Blic” and “Bota Sot” under the title “Economic crimes “land” in the Ministry of Regional Development”.

Referring to the same published article it is said that these same high officials are suspected of misuse of grants, and a few days ago, police investigators from Economic Crimes “landed” in this ministry, referring to its internal source from MRD, where it is said “A few days ago the economic crime investigators were at the Ministry of Regional Development. There are several senior officials of this Ministry who are being investigated under the suspicion of misuse of grants”.

• Once again we inform the public opinion that the Ministry of Regional Development did not have any request or visit from economic crimes as described in the news.
• The Ministry of Regional Development also announces that there is no information about any investigative process, request for information from the police, or any other information about the officials mentioned in the news.
