Today, on July 18, 2022, was held a meeting between the Ministry of Regional Development and the Institution of Higher Education - UBT, in which the joint synergies of cooperation between the two institutions were discussed to further advance regional socio-economic development through specific activities in the identification of regional development indicators, the creation of an online platform for regional development indices, as well as the visualization of data and their continuous updating.

This meeting is expected to be finalized by reaching a joint memorandum of cooperation between the two Institutions for a long-term cooperation to further regional development policies.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr.Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Director of DPASER Mrs.Vjendita Avdiu Musliu, Head of the Division for Regional Socio-Economic Performance Mrs.Fatmire Thaci, Mrs.Blinda Bytyqi, Consultant for Balanced Regional Development as well as the director of the Institute at UBT, Mr.Shqiprim Ahmeti and professor Mr.Hazer Dana.
