Today, on 10.08.2022, Mr.Ylber Çitaku - Deputy Director in the Department for Regional Development in the MRD participated in the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Swiss CARITAS and the Municipality of Pristina for the project "Impact of youth on the environment - within the YENI project".

The Swiss CARITAS and the Municipality of Pristina signed a three (3) year cooperation agreement in accordance with the priorities of the Ministry of Regional Development and the Swiss CARITAS in the fields of environmental protection.

This project aims to improve climate action and environmental protection, within this agreement the activities will be carried out in 13 High Schools of the municipality of Pristina, these activities are expected to improve climate action and environmental protection.

Director of the Directorate for Education Mrs. Besiana Musmurati welcomed the representatives of the Swiss Caritas and the Ministry of Regional Development, at this meeting they highly appreciated this cooperation agreement and promised to work with dedication in the implementation of this Project in thirteen (13) High School (HS) of the Municipality of Prishtina.

The YENI project is financed by the Ministry of Regional Development of Kosovo and the Swiss CARITAS and will cover the period until the end of 2024.
