The Minister of Regional Development, Mr.Fikrim Damka, on 20.09.2022 hosted the delegation from Turkey from the Ministry of Technology and Industry headed by the General Director of Incentives for Research and Development, Mr.Muhammet Bilal MACİT, General Manager of Research and Development Incentives. The Minister informed the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey about the objectives and work of the MRD, where he also expressed his readiness for cooperation.

The Deputy Minister Mr.Dobruna together with the Deputy General Secretary Mr.Kamberaj, the senior advisor to the Minister Mr.Bunjaku and the directors of the MRD departments hosted the delegation from Turkey in a meeting to discuss the possibilities of expanding cooperation, both sides agreed to prepare the terms of a cooperation agreement and exchange of experiences in the field of regional development.

The meeting was followed by a visit to the ICK Innovation Center Kosova where the delegation together with the officials of the Ministry of Regional Development were hosted by Mr.Shpend Lila Manager at ICK where they were informed about the work of this innovative center, the activities it carries out, the wide cooperation with various local and international actors as well as the startup development process, as well as expressed readiness for cooperation with similar centers in Turkey.
