Today, October 19, 2022, the Department for Regional Socio-Economic Planning and Analysis in collaboration with the North Regional Development Agency, held a meeting with the Directorates for Economic Development as well as representatives from the Department of Tourism of each municipality where was consulted about the draft document "Criteria for branding developing regions". The branding of developing regions aims to create identity by applying marketing practices, ensuring that the process does not create competition between regions in the sense of preventing or creating obstacles between developing regions.
The purpose of the presentation of this document is to discuss the framework for determining the criteria for the development of resources (branding materials) which will be used for their branding, for the promotion of developing regions based on marketing practices, the creation of two elements – visual through the logos and narrative-text.
