The Ministry of Regional Development, as the institution responsible for drafting policies for regional development, has drafted the draft law on Balanced Regional Development, the working group established by MZHR, has finalized the draft law on Balanced Regional Development, which after the completion of public consultations and inter-institutional coordination is processed in the government for approval.

This draft law aims to define the basic principles of regional development management, orientations, responsibilities of institutions, financial instruments, as well as the construction of the legal infrastructure for determining the rules for promoting balanced regional development in the Republic of Kosovo.
