Today, on 09 February 2023, the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) organized a consultative meeting with economic authorities, donors, Regional Development Agencies and other partners to present the Guidelines for Applicants on Balanced Regional Development Program (BRDP) 2023 Grant Scheme and Guidelines for Applicants on Program for Support of Non-Governmental Organizations in advancing balanced regional socio-economic development for 2023.

The meeting commenced with an introductory speech by Mr. Agon Dobruna, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, who thanked the attendees stating that this meeting was a good opportunity to be informed together and discuss the guidelines regarding the launch of the Calls for Proposals for businesses and young entrepreneurs, respectively for Civil Society Organizations.

Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development continued the work according to the agenda. In the first, the Guidelines for the Financial Support of NGO Projects/Programs in the Advancement of Balanced Regional Socio-Economic Development program were presented for the year 2023 by Mrs. Vjendita Avdiu Musliu, Chairperson of the Working Group. In the second session, the Guidelines for the Balanced Regional Development Program 2023 were presented, focusing on support for existing and start-up businesses by Mrs. Ekzotina Brahimaj, Chairperson of the Working Group.

The meeting was closed by Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary General of the MRD, drawing the conclusions, recommendations after discussions with the attendees and the steps that should be taken before the launch of the MRD’s public calls for 2023.
