Today, on 04 March 2023, the Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, hosted the rector of Haxhi Zeka University (HZU), Prof. Dr. Armand Kransiqi.

Mr. Agon Dobruna – Deputy Minister of MRD and members of the cabinet accompanied the Minister at this meeting.

Minister Damka and Rector Krasniqi discussed a number of topics related to the field of balanced regional development in Kosovo. In this context, Minister Damka informed the Rector about the mandate of the Ministry of Regional Development, activities, projects and programs, capital investments, support of businesses and civil society, as well as the processes of advancing strategic policies implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development.

Mr.  Krasniqi thanked Minister Mr. Damka for the hospitality and cooperation in the future between MRD and HZU. He also informed the Minister about the projects which Haxhi Zeka University is currently treating with priority in various fields, such as quality improvement, internationalization, scientific research and teaching, while he also highlighted the will of HZU for deepening cooperation.

The parties agreed to continue communication regarding the reaching of of a memorandum of mutual cooperation in the future.
