On 03 April 2023, the regular meeting of the Internal Audit Committee (IAC) of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) was held.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee at the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj.

The purpose of this meeting was to review the three-month report (3) for the year 2023 of the work of the DIA in the MRD and present the annual report by the Internal Audit Committee for the year 2022.

The head of the Division for Internal Audit in the Ministry of Regional Development, Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi, reported on the implementation of internal audit activities for the first three (3) months of this year.

The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, presented the annual report of the work of the Internal Audit Committee for 2022.

As a conclusion from this meeting, the MRD decided to prioritize the recommendations emerging from the reports of the Internal Audit Unit.

Minister of MRD, Mr. Fikrim Damka, and Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, expressed their readiness for cooperation with IAC and DIA.

The meeting was attended by Fikrim Damka, Minister of MRD, Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary General of MRD, Sabajete Kabashi, Head of the Division for Internal Audit, Xhevat Sefaj, Head of the Internal Audit Committee, Zejnullah Gylderen, Member of IAC and Shaqir Haliti- Member of IAC.
