The Department for Regional Socio-Economic Planning and Analysis (DPASER) within the MRD held today, 05 May 2023, a meeting with the University of Applied Sciences of Ferizaj (UASF).

MRD and UASF successfully tested the SPSS system for measuring regional performance in the Republic of Kosovo.

The purpose of the meeting was the final testing of the SPSS system designed according to the seven development regions for the collection of data and their analytical processing for the purpose of conducting regional socio-economic analyses.

Both institutions pledged to continue cooperation until the finalization and full implementation of SPSS. This system is expected to contribute to balanced regional development as an adequate system for measuring regional performance.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Fakije Zejnullahu, Vice Rector for Digitization, Innovation and Information Technology, Mrs. Shyhrete Kastrati, Director of DPASER, Mrs. Fatmire Thaçi, Head of the Division for Regional Socio-Economic Performance, Mrs. Vjendita Avdiu Musliu, Head of the Division for Balanced Regional Development and Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, Socio-Economic Development Officer at DPASER.
