As part of the official meetings in Slovenia, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Damka, together with the delegation from the Parliamentary Commission for Public Administration, Local Government, Media and Regional Development, Ambassador Mr. Sadiku, the staff of MRD and the RDA West held a working meeting with the members of the Commission for Economy and the members of the Commission for European Union Affairs of the Slovenian Parliament, where they were received by the chairwoman of the Commission for Economy, Mrs. Bojana Muršič (PS SD) and the Chairman of the Commission for European Union Affairs, Mr. Franc Breznik (PS SDS).
During the meeting, Minister Damka emphasized the vision of the Ministry in the journey of membership in EU programs. In turn, he was assured of the commitment of the representatives of the Assembly of Slovenia.
In addition, the deputies from the Parliamentary Committee of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Valon Ramadani, Chair, Mrs. Fidan Brina JIlta, Mr. Nijazi Isaku, Mr. Isak Shabani and Mr. Agim Veliu discussed together with the deputies from the Parliament of Slovenia.
The main topics of the talks were the institutional structure, regional development legislation, transnational programs - INTERREG, as well as the use of European cohesion funds in Slovenia.
