Today, on 29 June 2023, at the 148th meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the new Action Plan 2023-2025 of the Regional Development Strategy was approved.

The Ministry of Regional Development, in order to achieve the objectives of the Regional Development Strategy, which defines the long-term goals and priorities of the regional development policy and enables the coordination of other sectoral policies for balanced regional socio-economic development, has drawn up the new Action Plan 2023-2025. The working group established by the MRD has finalized the new Action Plan 2023-2025 which, after the end of public consultations and inter-institutional coordination, has been submitted to the government for approval.

The Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, welcomed the approval of this document and on this occasion expressed his gratitude for the commitment of the staff of the Ministry and the inter- institutional Working Group, who have contributed to the finalization of this document.

This plan aims to coordinate policies for regional development, balanced regional development and regions capable of inter-regional competition, as well as sustainable regional development based on natural, economic, cultural and human resources.
