On 12 July 2023, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafashiku, visited the Municipality of Gjilan, where he was received by the Director for Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Kushtrim Zeqiri and other municipal officials. Mr. Tafashiku saw closely the implementation of the "Kult Center" project co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development.

The Deputy Minister also visited the Municipality of Ranillug, where he was received by the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Arton Dubova. They visited the implementation site of the “Construction of cycling infrastructure” project supported by the Ministry of Regional Development.

Mr. Tafashiku expressed his willingness on behalf of the MRD to support these municipalities, asking from the municipal officials to respect the procedural deadlines and implement projects with dedication in order to improve the quality of services to citizens, as these projects contribute in regional socio-economic development.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Mr. Tafashiku was accompanied by Mr. Butrint Marmullaku, Deputy Head of the Division for Project Management, and Mr. Hamit Krasniqi, Head of the Division for IT and Logistic Services.
