Today, on 13 July 2023, as part of his visit to Germany, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Secretary of State at the German Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development together with the Chairman of the Federal Board of the ASB organization in Germany. This visit was conducted as part of the cooperation that the Ministry of Regional Development has with the ASB organization and focused on the possibility of cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany in the field of regional socio-economic development.

During today's meetings, Mr. Damka together with the Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, and the Minister's advisor, Mr. Ercan Silik met with Mr. Niels Annen, Parliamentary Secretary of State at the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and Mr. Knut Fleckenstein, Head of the Federal Branch of the ASB organization in Germany, where the possibility of joint programs in the field of socio-economic development and institutional capacity building was discussed. Part of the meeting was also Mr. Carsten Stork, Head of the Department for Foreign Aid at ASB, as well as the representative of ASB in Kosovo, Mrs. Dafina Hoxha.

During this meeting, the Ministry of Regional Development presented the current programs which in the future may find ways of cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany in order to increase institutional capacities and regional socio-economic development.
