From 23 July 2023, a youth group from Israel is staying in Kosovo as part of the event organized by the Qualitative Institute for Research, Analysis and Training (iCHAT) from Kosovo with the organization "Debate For Peace" from Israel. The youth of both countries held the PRI-MUN2023 workshop for the preparation of content - topics for the Model United Nations simulations 2023 to be held in Kosovo in December of this year.

Minister Damka informed the young people from Israel about the work and dedication of the Ministry of Regional Development, in the balanced regional socio-economic development, investments in the field of entrepreneurship with the support of businesses for the expansion of businesses and for services through support schemes from the MRD as well as start-up support for young entrepreneurs, which are directly affecting the empowerment and economic development of the country.

The youth from Israel informed Mr. Fikrim Damka that they had cooperated since 2016 with iCHAT and organized Model United Nations Kosovo, bringing students from Israel and youth from different countries of the world to Kosovo.

Further, they expressed their interest to engage Kosovo youth in Israel in the conferences and activities of the "Debate For Peace" organization, as well as in studies. Thus, this meeting has encouraged further cooperation between countries and the exchange of practices to achieve common goals and lobbying to highlight the role of youth in building a lasting peace in the international processes of Kosovo.
