The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), Mr. Ali Tafashiku, on 22 August 2023, made an official visit to the Municipality of Junik, where he was received by the Mayor, Mr. Ruzhdi Shehu.

The purpose of the visit was to see closely the work process in the project:

- "Construction of the Bridge that connects the Municipality of Junik with the Eco villages of Gjocaj and Jasiq"

The project has a value of EUR 122,174.50 and is financed by the Ministry of Regional Development in co-financing with the Municipality of Junik.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Junik, Mr. Ruzhdi Shehu, thanked the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafashiku, for the visit and promised to implement the project with dedication in order to improve the quality of services to citizens.

The Deputy Minister, Mr. Tafashiku, and the Mayor, Mr. Shehu, expressed their willingness to continue the communication for cooperation between the MRD and the Municipality of Junik in the future for the programs launched by the MRD.
