On 06 September 2023, the regular meeting of the Internal Audit Committee (IAC) of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) was held

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee at the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj.

The purpose of this meeting was to review the six-month report (6 ) for the year 2023 audited by the DIA in the MRD; the final report entitled: Management and procedures of programs for regional development (Department for Regional Development); as well as Review of the Report of the National Audit Office for the Annual Financial Statements of the MRD for the year 2022.

The head of the Division for Internal Audit in the Ministry of Regional Development, Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi, reported on the implementation of internal audit activities for six (6) months of 2023.

The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, presented the Report of the National Audit Office for the Annual Financial Statements of the MRD for the year 2022.

As a conclusion from this meeting, the MRD decided to treat with priority the recommendations arising from the reports of the Internal Audit Unit in the MRD as well as the Recommendations of the National Audit Office.
