Today, on 08 Septemner 2023, at the premises of the Ministry of Regional Development, MRD met with the University of Applied Sciences of Ferizaj (UASF).

The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate and advance the cooperation between MRD and UASF regarding the SPSS system created according to the seven development regions for data collection and their analytical processing for the purpose of drawing up regional socio-economic analyses.

Both institutions pledged to continue cooperation until the finalization and full implementation of SPSS. This system is expected to contribute to balanced regional development as an adequate system for measuring regional performance.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Fakije Zejnullahu, Vice Prorector for Digitization, Innovation and Information Technology at the University of Applied Sciences of Ferizaj (UASF), Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy General Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Shyhrete Kastrati, Director of DPASER, Mrs. Fatmire Thaçi, Head of the Division for Regional Socio-Economic Performance, as well as Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, Socio-Economic Development Officer at DPASER.
